Stop by the Creative Studio on the second floor of the Convention
Center. There will be examples to see of each of these projects.
All of the supplies and equipment will be available on the tables
for the projects on the scheduled day and times.
Thursday
- 10 a.m.
- Pincushions - Kits will be available to make a wrist band or
a table top pincushion with a matching finger ring pincushion.
This is a cute little project that will give you a useful sewing
souvenir of 2012.
Thursday
- 2 p.m.
- Coin Ruched Flower Pins - Kits will be available to make a small
fabric flower using the old technique of coin ruching. These hand
stitched flowers only take a few minutes to construct. Examples

Friday

- Colored Pencil Quilt Square - A Quilt Square unique to Spokane
will
be available. A friend, who is an artist, will be doing a panel
on coloring, shading, value, hues, etc. The Quilt Square for this
session can be purchased in 61st NSDC Ways & Means for $2
prior to the sessions; the colored pencils and other materials
needed for coloring the quilt squares will be available in the
Creative Studio.
Saturday
- 10 a.m.
- Beaded & Braided T-Shirts - You bring the T-shirt and we
will provide the pony beads and instructions to make an interesting
cuff on the sleeve.
This technique can also be used on the hem of the T-shirt for
more fun.
